While we're all in awe over government's continued closure of schools and other institutions of learning, there is a group of people rejoicing over our misfortune for they hope to steal big from it.
When the MoES announces that the closure wouldn't end soon, the NCHE directed universities to move forward with e-learning. The universities despite the challenges they and their students had faced with the whole process didn't protest it and the reasons aren't known but as I
show, many are using it as an avenue to cheat students. An example is @iuiuac ; according to this academic year's fees structure, nothing has been altered and yet the learning system has changed on the other hand. Students are required to pay functional fees that encompass
Shs. 375000 for accommodation, shs.60000 as medical fees, shs. 396000 as computer fees, shs. 60000 as library fees, my question is; why would you all charge these colossal sums of money to students who are staying at home and not using all these university services?
When the university started e-learning in November, in my class alone of 200 plus students, only about 20 always attended the zoom lectures which were not even properly scheduled, the administration turned a blind eye on this loophole in the system! The ERP system the
university thinks we should rely on is simply a database system( send & receive) thing where we collect information and on top of this, majority of the students and lecturers don't know how to use it. When finalists sat for their exams under the premise of they
had been undergoing e-learning, majority fatally failed e.g in the law class of more than 60 students, only 20 passed moreover after remarking but this didn't seem a sound loud enough that e-learning had failed the institution. We let go of these things the
previous semester because we had impromptu exams to sit for but we shall not turn a blind eye on this broad day robbery.

Meanwhile, whoever can come out to help me push this further is appreciated. "An injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere "
