While we can blame Trump for emboldening them, the real threat to our Republic, our children, and our freedom are the people trying to turn the US into a theocracy.
Religion, faith are personal. The "creator" mentioned in the DoI is not legislatively defined in the Constitution for a reason. Even in 1781 America was religiously diverse. We need to stop electing those who want to inject ideology into legislation, especially at the state level
We need to end straight party voting so they don't get elected by riding a general election train. We need to be vigilant or we WILL lose freedoms. No one wants to cancel god, no matter which god it is. We need to include everyone, regardless of god.
The party of less government has become radicalized into the party of evangelical christian government. Of a stiff, exclusive system of intolerances.
