A quick look at Trump support. In November he got 47% of the vote. Now the fresh ABC poll find 56% of Americans want to permanently block Trump from ever running again. Those supporting Trump is down to 43%.

So roughly speaking, about 1 in 10 who voted for Trump, have soured on Trump since November (mostly due to the refusal to accept the election result, and the January 6 terrorist attack). That is a HUGE loss. I'd say most are 'gone forever' ie escaped the cult

The first thing we must take from this data is that the Trump base is not set in stone. Even if only small slices can be pulled off, Trump lost 1 in 10 of his VOTERS in the past 3 months. Secondly, this speaks of the fracture inside GOP. Some are 'brave' to tell truth. Others not

And lastly - we have a GREAT potential to drive the GOP into more disarray with the Impeachment Trial. We want it to be as long as possible - and we want witnesses :-)

Especially since #LeningradLindsey Lady G Sen Lindsey Graham the moral vacuum is afraid of witnesses :-)
