Tonight's #SuperBowl marks the end of an unforgettable @NFL season. The age-defying, boundary-breaking Brady versus the up-and-coming, magical Mahomes.

As a referee, preparing for the big game is unlike any other. Let's take a look at what to expect from the ref's angle:
The @Chiefs defense will look to collapse the middle of the pocket, so keep an eye out for interior holds and illegal hands to the face. This type of pressure on the inside can also result in roughing the passer penalties, as the pocket can get chaotic if the rush is successful.
The @Buccaneers defense blitzed frequently all year, but not in the last matchup against the @Chiefs. I expect them to try and get pressure with 4 and focus their coverage over the top. Jamming receivers off of their spot could lead to illegal contact, defensive holding or DPI.
The @Chiefs offense uses intricate route combinations to free up their WRs. These "pick" plays, if poorly executed, can result in OPI. Andy Reid also substitutes players frequently on offense, which can lead to illegal sub situations as the defense attempts to match personnel.
The @Buccaneers offense will take shots down the field with their "no risk it, no biscuit" mantra. Downfield officials must stay alert as any play can break deep, regardless of down or distance. Tampa's WRs are physical and I expect significant hand-fighting with @Chiefs DBs.
Overall, this is an amazing matchup of 2 supremely talented teams. The #SuperBowl is usually decided by the slimmest of margins and with the talent in coaching on each sideline, I expect both teams to be prepared/play a clean game. Best of luck to all of the participants tonight!
