cheesy i know, but life really only is what you make it and so is twitter. there has to be space for debate and disagreeing is healthy, and at the same time there has to be space for seeing what you want to see. you gotta find that balance, you know?
twitter definitely encourages a pile-on culture, to the point where i've had fucking stress dreams about getting cancelled on twitter for accidentally saying something wrong
where does this stop? in the fallout of yesterday's discourse, i think we as a collective need to have

frank conversations with ourselves about where we're taking fandom as a whole and whether our (individual) relationships with twitter are healthy or not. in order for there to that balance i mentioned previously, we have to aim for it in ourselves too.
all of this to say, if you need to unfollow, please do. if you need to softblock, please do. look after yourself. but don't make it drama. it doesn't need to be. it doesn't need to be deep.
stan twitter always has a finger on the trigger and that shit is not healthy.

right now i'm off to cry about the fact that i will never be hayley williams
