For #BlackHistoryMonth I want to post my favorite scenes from some of my favorite Black films.

I’ll start with Moonlight —
The “Hello Stranger” scene in Moonlight — SWOON!
One of my favorite two-handers. Alfre and Delroy were electric in Crooklyn. I love this scene!
“Eve’s Bayou” — Eve and Mozelle. The staging. The editing. This monologue. Haunting.
Menace II Society — The come Jesus with Grandpa. Even as a kid, this scene hit HARD.
My favorite scene from Boomerang.

“So. When are we gonna f*ck?” Grace Jones is EVERYTHING. 😂
