Here Mitch sees Lillard coming off that screen and sags off Kanter, staying in a defensive stance the entire time, scaring Hood from trying that pass and risking another TO. Result is a tough shot and a nice box out from Mitch to keep Kanter, a constant OREB threat, off the glass
Portland counters by running GTJ. off the flare screen, hoping Mitch cheats to create some space for a Dame pull-up. Mitch, understanding Dame is the greater threat + seeing Bullock navigated the screen, stays up on Enes, ready for the PnR. He caps it off with a spectacular block
