this is true tho! when i realized that some sounds were triggering my anxiety, I decided to turn ALL my notifications off.

my anxiety in the past was THAT bad. If you can’t afford therapy, try observing yourself. List down what triggers you and...
think of a solution. But if it gets unbearable, talk to someone about it and/or go to a therapist.

One meeting would usually cost 2500-3k (?) and meds, around 2k? If I remember correctly. That would last for 2 mos. But there are institutions who offer free/cheaper counseling.
Other alternatives:
- meditation: helps a lot. but it would need great focus. For starters, go to youtube/spotify and search for “guided meditations for anxiety”

- take deep breaths

- keep a journal (or in my case, a priv twt acct that no one follows)
not a doctor and this isn’t a medical advice~

I’m just sharing my “best practices” in battling my stupid brain who has a mind of its own.
