I haven’t been on @krismcewen’s pod yet but I wanted to share a little of my own story of how I got into golf and my journey here with everything in golf going on currently.

THREAD, 1/....

In 2014, I had never golfed, couldn’t name more than 3-5 golfers and had 0 interest..
(2/...) My mom had a school trip to Dallas I could go on and miss a few days- I was in. I watched TV during her conventions and always had to have sports on.

The absolute only thing on TV on a Thursday and Friday in April.... was The Masters.

Wasn’t very interested.
Come about Friday, I kept hearing the name “Jordan Spieth,” which I had heard before as I have always been a diehard Texas fan.

This was how I dressed for my birthday 2 months after the aforementioned date.

I started watching, actively cheering & learning golf. (3/..)
Anyways, Spieth lost to Bubba. I was devastated and kinda moved on. Continued doing stupid things kids do and graduated HS a few months later.

The day after I graduated, I woke up and said “Now what do I do with my life..?” I’ve always been motivated by sports) (4/...)
