One of the things I’m proudest of in @DeathbyDyingPod Season 2 is finding the courage to express my queerness more overtly. Bringing in strong LGBTQ characters, exploring OW’s bisexuality, and by extension, my own... I found power and beauty. I can’t wait to share it with you all

When I wrote Season 1, I held back. I had so much love for LGBTQ friends and strangers alike, but couldn’t fully extend that to myself, let alone be bold publicly in my writing about it. But then I discovered the fiction podcast community.

This community has some of the most welcoming, accepting, courageous, compassionate creators and audience members I’ve ever met. It inspired me, emboldened me, opened me. Thank you.

It always fascinates me when I talk to other people about this and they say that my bisexuality and queerness came through in Season 1 anyway. Through story, vibe, energy, characterization, what-have-you. Early on that quickened my pulse, but eventually warmed my heart to know.

All this to say – Thank you for the support you all have given and continue to give unabashedly for Death by Dying. Here’s to a new season of compassion, healing, laughter, silliness, and courage.
