I was there and remember when Dan Andrews said he'd ban ..any... form of 'conversion therapy' at Pride march.

And he delivered.

"You are valued the way you are'.

And it mattered. I watched the 12hr 'debate' and the attempts to derail the law, the lies, sneering, hate..

The govt didn't buckle or compromise.. to anyone. Not the LNP, the Catholic church, the homophobes, the transphobes...

And in a horrible world where the world wide Murdoch media hates trans people, Russia, Poland, Hungary , the US religious right..the TERfs..hate us.

And want to kill us

There was the Andrews govt standing against it.

And I can't talk for anyone else, but emotionally it means so much to me.

I am valued for who I am. I am just the way I should be.
