. @esglaude remember you said you were hopeful that USA was finally entering a New Era of Inclusion?

-NC legislature voted to remove the word "systemic" from school lessons on race.

-UT legislature has a new resolution awaiting approval that says there is no "systemic racism".
-Iowa legislature has a new resolution declaring Black Lives Matter protests unlawful if they in any way impede upon local businesses or streets.

All this happened just in this last week & despite Biden EO recognizing the issue of systemic racism in our society.
The states are behaving the way they always have when the federal government began helping Black Americans...they enact legislation to block the federal effort.

There is no New Era of Inclusion.
Until we, Americans, fully understand how the US local systems of government work (i.e. resolutions, petitions, lobbying, judicial support, standards, etc.), our nation won't be successful at getting rid of this systemic racism hamster wheel we've been in for 402 years.
