Dopamine is a neuro-chemical (neurotransmitter) produced and released in your brain when you accomplish a milestone or are on the right path.

It makes you happy, satisfied and motivated. Basically you feel good when dopamine is released in your body.
It can be released because of internal (achievement, alignment with your purpose) or external (food, sex, drugs, winning money) triggers.

When you learn how to control dopamine level through internal triggers you will not need external triggers anymore.
Noradrenaline is another neurotransmitter which puts your body in a state of alertness enabling ‘fight or flight’ response to perceived danger.

It is helping you deal with stressful situations and supporting great effort from your side.
But if that effort persists eventually your mind will let your body know that you have reached your limits and didn't achieve your goal and that it is time to quit.

Suffering is too big and you are not getting the reward.

You have reached your noradrenaline threshold.
You need dopamine to reset that threshold. You need achievement to justify the effort. Only then your effort can continue.

Trick is to persuade yourself that you have achieved something meaningful.
Reward your brain with mini-goals you are achieving along the way and/or with visualization of achievements.

That will give you a hit of dopamine to keep you going further.

If you master this you can become essentially unstoppable.
