The Body Language:

Controlling the Mood of The Room With Zero Words.

-Thread-
Most people give no attention to the messages their body and movement express to the others.

As I often say, you will be seen more than you will ever be heard.

The body language you adopt shapes the image you radiate to the others.
One of the most important components of a confident body language is relaxation.

It applies to both when one is sitting and when they're moving.

-Move Freely
-Sit Comfortably

Here is why.
Laying back on your couch/seat, in an open arms and legs position exudes that you are open to any conversation

It shows that you do not try to protect any part of your body (which is a subconscious act of insecurity)

People tend to sit in folded positions as if they were scared
When it comes to moving around, the more embarrassed and rigid you are

The more you show that you're scared of doing something wrong

The more you move around freely the more comfortable you make the people around you

You, willingly, ALLOW the others to be relaxed too
Last but not least:

Eye contact.

If someone tells you to look at people in the eyes;

They're dead wrong.

In fact, when you are not the one doing the talk

It is better to look around and make them feel a lack of interest

This behavior will make them crave your eye contact
As opposed to the last tweet, whenever you are the one talking

You need to look at your interlocutor with insistence and pressure

If they avoid your eye contact, you stay straight and focused

Do not follow their wandering eyes, it'll mean you're seeking their attention
Your body language defines you better than your words and promises

No matter how well you dress and talk

If your body language doesn't follow, you'll just make yourself look like a fool.

Force respect, BEFORE you start talking.
