The way in which techno gave tommy the axe of peace as a sign of friendship and trust and when tommy leaves techno, he uses a gift given out of respect as a weapon against techno, and then during doomsday tommy loses the axe and techno assumes it’s lost forever.

The way in which Ranboo then comes along and makes an exact replica of the axe as a gift for Techno for no reason other than genuine human kindness for another person. How even though techno was hurt that doesn’t mean that hurt is inevitable and universal.....
And the way in which Tommy works to recover that axe and puts the effort in to protect it and keep it safe.
How techno assumes that his relationship to tommy is broken beyond repair/lost but was given the opportunity to pursue a (non-Philza) friendship once more. And how Tommy still is processing the way he feels about techno and is working to make amends with other ppl (like techno)
