#wandavision ep 5 afterthoughts + theories

Okay so a lot happened this ep but let's start with the elephant in the room: "Pietro's" return.

I've always liked both Quicksilvers but I can def understand people being upset by not seeing ATJ.

However I think a lot if people are focusing-

-on this reveal the wrong way.

Firstly, this is NOT our og Pietro and that's the point.

I've seen a lot of people acting like this is Disney genuinely recasting but if were the case then why would Darcy I'm universe say this:

So theres 2 possible routes ahead
1) Wanda bringing another version of Pietro opening up to the idea of a Multiverse
2) Someone else sent this Pietro

Obvi the first is the most exciting for the MCU and can mean A LOT for future storylines by-

Connecting FOX with the MCU

Plus considering Wandavision will eventually connect to Dr. Strange's Multiverse of Madness so

However, let's not get to ahead of ourselves. It can be very exciting but there might also be another explanation.

In this ep, the twins + even Agnes question Wanda's ability to bring back the dead. But Wanda says she can't do that.

Which leads to the question: then how did Vision come back????

And well technically Vision isn't a human being. He's a-

-vibranium synthezoid. Which I'd argue with Wanda's power is more achievable

And I don't think she was lying. Instead I think she was being goated into showing the extent of her abilities (by maybe Agnes? She could have even poisoned Sparky)

So yes this Pietro is not our Pietro. I've seen a lot of people speculate that this could be Mephisto himself. I also think he could have brought this "Pietro" to entice Wanda into staying. Regardless it was very sus when it happened

Vision even asks Wanda if that was her? Which I def don't think so.

But why would Mephisto or whoever want Wanda to stay? Well for her kids

I found it very sus that the babies seemed to age right after Agnes sprayed. Not to mention that-

-these specific situations continued to encourage the boys to age. Probably because they are more useful as adults. It seems as if this universe was created for Wanda to make these kids

And yes this is more proof that she's Agatha Harkness

Moving on another sus thing I found was Hayward + SWORD. Like:

1) Why did he just show that footage of Wanda storming into to find Visions body? Why didn't he tell Monica that something had happened in SWORD before hand?

2) Why was SWORD seemingly inspecting Visions body?

3) Why is Hayward so easy to paint Wanda in a negative light?

I def think SWORD wanted to have Visions body to experiment on or use as a base to create weapons. Not main villian but very sus

Now another point of speculation is the aerospace engineer that Monica called. A lot of people think it's Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) but I don't think so

I always watch Wandavision at least twice, once by myself and the second with my mom

So I notice in the Spanish dub Monica says ingeniera.

Unfournately I don't have enough comic book knowledge to figure out who but I bet she's definitely going to be important. Might have to do a lot of digging before I find something.

Another interesting point are the twins. Like the fact that they can't be controlled by Wanda and seem to be aware of what's going on. Kinda creepy but it falls into the whole Mephisto storyline from the comics

Lastly I think another interesting point is Wandas personality. It safe to say that sitcom Wanda & real Wanda are two different people. Maybe she's just acting for Visions sake but it could she be her fully embracing her role.

Also think this Vision is not the og we knew. Like he was made out of the old one but has no memories which is why he can't remember anything from his life before.

Kinda like a baby Groot situation which honestly makes this even more sad :(

I think this all I have say, maybe I'll add onto this later? But anyways this ep was great I loved it!
