If you are poor enough in this country it’s extremely likely you will be missing some or many teeth and/or be in serious dental pain for extended periods. Medicare has a lot of shortcomings but the fact it ends at your mouth is disgraceful.
As a simple policy change that would massively improve the lives of many poorer Australians fixing this really stands out
Also recognising Medicare is pretty crap for anyone who needs psych assistance or has a chronic condition and we need to fix this too

Just also to note that I’ve only regularly met and worked with people missing large numbers of teeth since working in a Greens MP’s office - class based social segregation is very real
