Parents need to understand that in-class school doesn't mean mental health problems go away.

You may think your child is having more problems at home because you see what we see: interrupting your work, yelling, tantrums, breaking things.

This is what we see on a daily basis at school. Then we evacuate the class.

Where's the talk about "lost time" here? #onted (2/4)
Don't say "mental health" as a reason if it's pertaining only to you, the adults in the family. Kids have always had these mental health issues, but you didn't see them because they're at school.

Don't think for a SECOND that their issues erupted suddenly. (3/4)
This is your child. You gave them life. Work with them. Talk with them. Parent them. Be their caregiver.

Do NOT hot-potato them into unsafe schools with unventilated classrooms just so you can pretend your child is not suffering.

This is your child, not a broken blender. (4/4)
