Women’s Hour, when hosting a discussion on the Women in Mosques project that @MuslimCouncil was leading at the time, disinvited me as the MCB representative on their programme.

This is a disingenuous and deliberate attempt to trip up the first woman leader: hostile & disgusting https://twitter.com/bbcwomanshour/status/1357974310527270913
. @ZaraM01 has overwhelmingly been elected as MCB Secretary General & has full confidence of affiliates. Behind her is a record of MCB working on promoting the role of women in mosques. The inference that Muslims are inferior to C/J because you don’t understand it is a low blow.
Part of why Muslim women don’t have the confidence to be visible in British civil society is because liberal Islamophobes, along with the far right, will just not leave us alone. Case in point.
If your response to this is to gaslight Muslim women and say nothing was wrong - go away.
