We can't be more welcoming and accepting than Jesus, folks.

Jesus welcomed sinners ... who sought conversion and mercy. The Pharisees, scribes, Herodians, and Romans - all of whom were sinners - excluded themselves from his kingdom. He didn't welcome them. https://twitter.com/KarlBarthTopCop/status/1358076221427384322
"ridiculous rules of who should be in and who should be out" include:

- "Prostitutes & tax collectors are entering the Kingdom before you."
- "Amen, I say to you, I do not know you."
- "Depart from me, you accursed, into the everlasting fire..."
Everyone who wishes to come to the light has a place at the altar. Every single one.

But those who wish to stay in the outer darkness, preferring darkness to light, will not be forced into the Kingdom.
Jesus accepts you as you are, warts and all. He only has two requirements (from a moral perspective):

1. Go and sin no more.
2. Love one another as I have loved you.

We can't observe one and ignore the other. To do so is to disregard the Savior's own voice.
