Lord Rama sent his wife( Sita) into the forest during her pregnancy .
Is this kind of gesture of good husband ? Then why should we worship him in India? ( Ques by liberals)

1.First of all he did not break the promise of his father by accepting
14yrs of exile.

If he wish,he can live luxurious life
Of king.But he chose exile, this gesture show how much he loves his father . How much he was attached of teaching.

2. When Ravana kidnap Maa Sita
Then he along with his brothers went in search for her

They had no car no bike they travel almost 3000km by walking. If he wish then he returned home and marry another women. But he chose
Sita .
He fought war with Ravana killed him and bring Sita home.
This show how much he loves his wife.

3. When he bring back Sita then many of the villagers does not believe they thought he bring other woman and introduce her as Sita
NOW he is in dilema that whether he shut up the villagers or send sita for agnipariksha.
As a king he puts his prayja over his
family

Conclusion
He :- rightfully do the responsibility

and a leader.
