BREAKING: Surge testing confirmed in some Bristol postcodes due to the new Covid mutation. Testing to take place over the next two weeks.
The list includes postcodes within BS1, BS2, BS3, BS4, BS5, BS6, BS8, BS9, BS14, BS16 and BS37.
Plan includes roll-out of mobile test units, places where people can collect and return test kits, and delivery of test kits to homes in some areas.

Disappointingly, the council statement doesn't say the latest number of cases. There's been no update on that since Matt Hancock's announcement on Tuesday
