Reframing laws from sex to gender identity destroys the rights I enjoy as a gay man (male homosexual) that are constructed around the reality of biological sex.

Trans is a medical treatment pathway for severe gender dysphoria that can't be treated by other means. Trying to treat gender dysphoria before progressing to transition **is not** conversion therapy, it is offensive to me as a gay man to liken it to that vile practice.

People who transition deserve the best possible health care, protections in law, and deserve to be treated with dignity.
That cannot be delivered at the expense of the dignity of other vulnerable groups people.

You can languish under the thumb of a reality-denying cult that is enthralled by a quasi-religious belief system that is being used to roll back the rights of women, and of lesbians, gay men and bisexual men and women.
