Marlon Williams is coming out of UCF on the back of his most productive year and will be hoping to emulate fellow UCF alumni Tre’Quan Smith and Gabriel Davis in being drafted into the NFL.
Coming out of high school, Williams was a 3* recruit and had offers from LSU, Ole Miss and USC before finally enrolling at UCF in 2017.

Coming into the draft he’s 6ft, 225lbs. A very similar build to AJ Brown.
During his 4 years at UCF it took him 2 years to really establish himself as a legitimate receiving threat, with his best year coming in 2020. In his senior year at UCF he had 71 receptions, for a 1,039 yards and 10 TDs. Easily his most productive year in college.
Last season he ranked 2nd, nationally, in YAC (444 yards). Williams also become a reliable pass catcher for UCF, while also utilising his big catch radius.

Williams, does lack some top speed, despite his good initial burst. His route running can also be inconsistent.
A lot will depend on landing spot and I hope he doesn’t get lost in the depth chart. Great landing spots include:

• Ravens
• Jets
• Lions

Marlon Williams is definitely name to keep an eye out for towards the end of your rookie drafts.
