Finally caught the FX FRAMING BRITNEY SPEARS and kinda disappointed it didn't go hard on the limitations of the conservatorship and, boy, does it avoid disabled rights.

Nowhere in the piece does it talk about the limitations placed on Britney that happen to a lot of disabled people: she is controlled as to whether she can have children or go on and off birth control.
Did I expect the NYT show to discuss this? Sadly, no. But I think the #FreeBritney movement would be a lot bigger if we reminded everyone conversatorships are detrimental to the disabled. We should take notice.
