Just finished Range by @DavidEpstein

Amazing book with plenty of stories of great people.

Some of the most interesting things I learned 👇
Frances Hesselbein got her first "professional job" at age 54, with no college degree. This led to her career as the CEO of @girlscouts.

At age 105 today she holds 22 honorary PhD's and a Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Van Gogh was not a lifelong art prodigy. At 33 he was enrolling in art schools and being told he belongs in a class with "10 year olds".

At 36 he painted The Starry Night. 🖌️
Physicist Andre Geim is the only person to have received the satirical 'Ig Nobel' prize as well as the real @NobelPrize. 🏆

Both were a result of his unorthodox "Friday Night Experiments" which he conducted outside of his regular work.

- Chase new experiences rather than mastery
- Don't feel behind, you never know what comes next
