In the previous thread we learnt that in Christian Angelology there are 3 Spheres of "Angels". We covered the lowest Sphere (the 3rd Sphere) and now we climb up to the 2nd Sphere.
This is where we find:
- Dominions/ Lordships
- Virtues/ Strongholds
- Powers/ Authorities

The Celestial Beings in the Second Sphere work as heavenly governors of the Creation by subjecting matter and guiding and ruling the Spirits.
It is important to note that they Don't govern Mankind BUT the Spirit or Spirits that are assigned to Mankind. (Refer to Part 1)

Dominions/ Lordships:
This class of 2nd Sphere Celestial Beings is also called Lordships (from Greek term Kyriotēs). They are assigned to regulate the duties of 3rd Sphere Angels (which are Principalities, Archangels, and Guardian Angels).

It is only with extreme rarity that the Angelic lords/dominions make themselves physically known to Humans. Throughout History, in religion and outside religion, many Prophets and Izanusi have engaged with these Celestial Beings, at the authority and approval of uMvelingqangi.
The secrets they reveal to those chosen Humans always sound far fetched and borderline crazy until they physically manifest. A tangible example that comes to mind is ubaba uCredo Mutwa, who many of his peers thought he was crazy and was working as impimpi to the Apartheid state.
People that engage with these Beings have a painful life journey because whatever they are told to tell others will endanger their lives as well. But also they become Men AND Women of Spiritual Statue as many follow them to their own Spiritual Enlightenment and Growth.

Virtues/ Strongholds
This class of 3rd Sphere Angels are those through which signs and miracles are manifested in the world. The term "Virtues" is linked to the attribute "Might" from the Greek root Dynamis in Ephesians 1:21 which is translated as "Virtues" or "Power".

The passage of Bible scripture in 2 Corinhians 10:4 speaks of Strongholds of the Shadow Kingdom:-

Powers/ Authorities
These Celestial Beings' primary duty is to supervise the movements of the heavenly bodies (stars, planets, various galaxies, and the world of spirit on the earth, under the earth, in the heavens, and in the marine world).

In Historic art, they are represented as soldiers wearing full armour and helmet, and also having defensive and offensive weapons such as shields and spears or chains respectively.
Everything in the Kingdom kaMvelingqangi is built on precise Order. The same hierarchical system we are discussing here can clearly be seen in the world governing systems as well.
