Noteworthy it does not give immunity for votes and does not apply to Treason, Felony or Breach of the Peace. The 8 @SenateGOP and over 100 @HouseGOP can and must be charged. https://twitter.com/Mattison/status/1358077043703971842
2. The US treason statute is written in terms of crimes against the individual states. If each state was a victim of these crimes of treason they have jurisdiction to charge them all in state criminal proceedings and issue state arrest warrants for their immediate arrest.
3. And the attack on the Capitol was treason under US law. CJ Marshall who argued against the broad use of treason as a political tool established that these attackers and their leader Donald Trump were engaged in Treason as follows:
“On the contrary, if war be actually levied,
4. that is, if a body of men be actually assembled for the purpose of effecting by force a treasonable purpose, all those who perform any part, however minute, or however remote from the scene of action, and who are actually leagued in the general conspiracy, are to be considered
5. as traitors. But there must be an actual assembling of men, for the treasonable purpose, to constitute a levying of war."

@HawleyMO @tedcruz @SenHydeSmith @ScottforFlorida @CynthiaMLummis @RogerMarshallMD @TTuberville @SenJohnKennedy & House Treason all committed treason
6. and over 30 states can charge them. Prosecutors should run in the blue states on platforms that will promise these traitors are charged. The Fulton County Georgia prosecutor can charge it and hold them as all pending trial on a capital crime. @MarkMeadows tell the traitor.
