Why antis should stop using the " I am in fact straight" tweet by louis as a proof - important ( PLEASE READ )
The article louis was referring to never once mentioned something about louis being gay not even his sexuality. The article was portraying louis as an ally and it was talking about louis being supportive of LGBT. Here's the article:
As how you see the article talks about louis wearing a rainbow apple logo which is shown as a support of the apple CEO who came out publicly at the time. No mention of Louis' relationships, no mention of larry, no mention of his sexuality.
This is why "Louis" tweeting this looks extremely homophobic and defensive over an article talking about lgbtq+ support. The comments below this tweet were hundreds of fans being heartbroken because the tweet DOES make him look homophobic.
The person who wrote the article responded a few times, explaining how they never mentioned his relationship status or sexuality. All they did is to show his support towards queer people.

They also addressed the fact that they got death threats and were called names when in fact they didn't do anything wrong. Which Louis was blamed about as well.

If you think louis is uneducated enough to think supporting lgbtq+ means you must be part of it, if you think louis is ignorant enough to get offended over someone calling him supportive of queer community. Unstan him as soon as possible.
With believing that Louis tweeted this exact tweet you are setting him up, sabotaging him and in fact believing he's not supportive of a community most of his fanbase is part of. This is why some toxic solo stans call him homophobic and use the tweet against him.
The tweet has nothing to do with larry and larries. We know it wasn't Louis who tweeted that because he's the most supporting person ever and he's shown his support of queer community so many times. Using this tweet to prove louis is straight is ignorant and hurtful.
If you want to believe he's straight go ahead. No one can stop you. But I'm asking to stop using the tweet to say " he said he's straight'. Being so defensive over his heterosexuality that you are ready to portray him as ignorant and homophobic is disgusting.
If you call yourself a louie and know the story behind the tweet yet you still think he tweeted that, you don't know him at all. And you don't deserve him.
