Y'all wanna hear a wild story about our girl scout cookie order? Well I'm telling it anyway. We received our order form hand delivered to our mailbox from our neighbor around the corner. It's an all Black troop & all little ones from the neighborhood so we of course order.
Instructions said to fill out the form, wrote a check & put it in the neighbors mailbox to order. Order delivery would be coordinated via text to ensure no contact needed. Perfect. We followed the directions and didn't think anything of it.
Last night we got the text, your cookies are here - we tell the Troop Mom drop them off anytime - issa panorama we ain't going anywhere. Doorbell rings 10 min later - cookies on doorstep cool.
Then we get a follow up text apologizing for the delay.
Us: delay? You brought them over in 10 min.
She then explains that our mailman took our UNSTAMPED & only partially addressed envelop from her mailbox & processed it...

It got all the way to a sorting facility in Nashville where a postal worker opened the envelop, saw the troop leaders phone number on the order form, called her to ask where she should send our form & check...
But we got our cookies tho. Cuz even the USPS knows not to get in between people & their Tagalongs. Fin.
