I was listening to @AliVelshi this morning talk about the historic journey of @VP #KamalaHarris
Ali then pivoted to the incredible biography of the 1st black female congresswoman & Presidential Candidate #ShirleyChisholm
It brought me back to my childhood

when I vaguely remembered having her candidate card. I didn’t keep many childhood belongings but because of my love for JFK & RFK (named after him) I kept a politics shoe box where I found a few from the 1972 set - Chisholm’s card
along w Nixon, McGovern, Humphrey & Wallace.

I wanted to thank @AliVelshi for the great story about how she used her own credit card to run for President- wow- and just loved her quote :

“If they don’t give you a seat at the table, bring in a folding chair”
