So as we talk about employing disabled writers to write about accessibility, there's a very important thing I want people to realize.

It is easier than you think to get good accessibility content.

This past year, an unpaid and part time staff of about half a dozen...
disabled gamers @CanIPlayThat managed to drive absolutely incredible change and coverage in the industry.

No, that is not an excuse not to pay content creators.

The question is... what could we have accomplished if we had been paid? What could we have accomplished if we....
didn't have to keep our day jobs? What could we have accomplished if we had more resources?

If you want to create an accessibility team, it might be easier than you think it is. Experts are out there, ready to be hired, and even modest sized teams and resources (to start)...
could lead to massive improvements in accessibility, huge growth in markets, and a new age of progressive and inclusive public relations and marketing.

The reasons to hire a11y staff are overwhelming. The talent is ready. Now it's time to create the positions.
