My Grandfather grew up in Atlantic City, NJ (Boardwalk Empire) days.. and BOY did he have a lot to say when that show came out! HA! He started drumming by 10 (and met my grandma in a âthe Notebookâ kind of way at 13! They were married

My Grandfather grew up in Atlantic City, NJ (Boardwalk Empire) days.. and BOY did he have a lot to say when that show came out! HA! He started drumming by 10 (and met my grandma in a âthe Notebookâ kind of way at 13! They were married
(2) for 50 some odd years before she died! He played for the likes of Sophie Tucker etc while growing up in AC.. from there developed such an ear that when he went into the UNITED STATES ARMY, they urged him to stay as he worked on airplane intel parts. Type A that he was
(3) he went on to become VP of a major cosmetic company.. while painting etc.. thereâs more to his talent and all.. but what his 5 children and 14 grandchildren miss MOST is his story telling! How he made anyone and everyone feel SO special! His strength in the demons of life..
(4) his laugh and smarts made him SO unique! He was extremely knowledgeable, yet VERY patient! ALL of this was rare! He taught me about fishing, the sea .. he said âhey youâre either born with sand in your shoes or you like the mountainsâ HA!
(5) Thereâs sooo much more, but Iâve probably already bored you! The BEST lesson I learned was empathy.. pure kindness.. and that his âgirlsâ were his âpioneer womenâ and donât let anyone tell YOU what to do! Miss him everyday.. but hey! âTo speak of the dead is to honor themâ!
