WebM is the new AVI/MOV. You're probably tired of wasting all your disk space on huge files.
Pros:
- It's 100x lighter than other alpha-matte formats
- That's about it...
Cons:
- Requires Adobe Media Encoder (Included with Adobe CC)
- Hard-ish to find (I've got you covered)
- Takes longer to render
- Loads of weird settings
- Strictly HTML5 use (no video editing)

Using WebM will benefit both you and your client. Upload your files faster, store them longer.
