Thanks to @Ron_Fleasley's thread I've gone down a 2018 photo rabbit hole which has been great.
It wasn't the best year for me personally (dad v. ill then died, youngest nearly severed a finger) but looking back I also see just how many great moments there were that year too

A big highlight has to be my best friend getting married to a wonderful woman: a great sign for a relationship is when you feel like you'd be mates with the spouse if you'd met them another way.

That wasn't our only wedding that year too, we also had one in Spain and one in the village I brewed four (and drank at).

Work was good- I felt like a massively appreciated part of a well run project that was going well, with a director I hugely enjoyed working for (though being unable to recapture that may be where 19/20 went off the rails for me)
It was the year these idiots got more fun out of a pair of boxes than anything we actually bought them before or since
