We have an organisation called @pdforra who do their level best and have achieved a tremendous amount through the dedication of National and Regional representatives. What other organisation, in modern times, in this country, were threatened with imprisonment and dismissal by
the very people who should have been representing the best interests and conditions of service for enlisted personnel... The General Staff.
Maybe back in the 50s, 60s and 70s, it served the General Staff's interests to have this unhealthy relationship with the @IRLDeptDefence

as they could shift the blame while pocketing salaries and pensions tied to higher civil Servant pay scales. Which is still the same today. So why rock the proverbial boat.

ICTU. It is unhealthy for any Military organisation to have its pay & pensions linked to Civil Servants pay grade. Especially when it is only a small part of the Military organisation and not the whole.
