All of these people stan the villains, btw. You know, those entitled kids who have killed people to make a point, mutilated corpses, experimented on children, joined a cult. Some excuse it by saying that Enji's issues are more "real" than any of theirs but they're not????
All these things happen in real life and the social political commentary in the manga can and should be paralleled to real life, at least in terms of messaging. We do have a hero worship problem, capitalism is a disease preventing genuine good from happening,we subjugate minorites
And their acts of terrorism (not protest) does happen in real life; not due to magic/super powers, but with the same amount of violence and impact. Child soldiers are a thing. Cults are a thing. Murderers are a thing; yet you all condemn the most realistic character in the show..
...because of your projection onto the situation. You've rarely, if ever, been in Enji's shoes but I'm sure you've abused someone; if not physically, then emotionally. You were the bad guy then. Difference between Enji, you and your abusers is that he's genuinely sorry for it.
Wish you all were.
