Around 6 weeks back, I posted a list of SPAC warrants and was planning to update the profit/gain % for each after a month but the SPAC market is hot, so, updating every week (on Friday AH) $AACQ (57%) $ACND (30%) $ACTC (313%) $AONE (71%) $AVAN (63%) $BTAQ (138%) $BTWN (24%).. https://twitter.com/ajitosu/status/1355291398191394820
$CCAC (81%) $CCIV (1097%) $CLII (216%) $CPSR (25%) $DGNR (-19%) $ETAC (52%) $FCAC (89%) $FMAC (91%) $FTOC (145%) $FUSE (103%) $GSAH (100%) $HZAC (36%) $IMPX (73%) $IPOD (39%) $IPOE (222%) $IPOF (98%) $LEAP (28%) $PDAC (110%) $PIAI (40%) $PRPB (59%) $PSTH (29%) $QELL (29%)...
$SNPR (37%) $SOAC (51%) $TREB (45%) $TWCT (55%) $VGAC (108%) $XPOA (46%)..Gain in 6 weeks from these SPAC warrants 103%. After 4 weeks the gain was 86% that dropped to 64% by the end of week 5th and now 103% at the end of week 6.
This is not my portfolio though I've most of these warrants. Takeaway points: (1) Even a heavily diversified portfolio which primarily have quality SPAC warrants can give an amazing return (2) Hyped/high profile SPAC may or may not give a good ROI.
Some of the high profile names are $DGNR (-19%) $BTWN (24%) $IPOD (39%) $IPOE (222%) $IPOF (98%) $PSTH (29%), in these high profile ones, other than $IPOE (SoFi) and $IPOF returns were much below the average. (3) Not so hyped SPAC can give an amazing return too $CCIV (1097%)..
$ACTC (313%) $BTAQ (138%) $CLII (216%) $FTOC (145%) etc. (4) Early entry into quality SPACs AND diversification is a key. Think about if someone is heavy in $DGNR or $PSTH (5) As you can see, week 4 gain to week 5 to week 6, there is a high degree of volatility.
However, if you have a stomach to handle volatility and play intelligently then this is an amazing sector. I've not even included the power of trimming after rally and adding into sleeper quality ones in this whole discussion.
Trimming the winners and adding into sleeper quality ones can further enhance your profit. There is no easy money, if you have not done your DD then you will lose money in a long run as you won't have a conviction to hold/trim/dump.
Never listen to pumpers but there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong in not taking advantage of pumped stocks but make sure when to get out.
