buddy you're not a letter. you're laboring in spaces that deny you the dignity you're worth and i don't blame you when you look outside the camp to grow and understand you see shit that makes you feel like you're reviled and stuff, and that sucks.

like I get it, you're desperate to find an answer to make you feel like you're something you can be proud of, or at least contextualize the pain, but trying to find another rigid hierarchy to climb, you're being played.

you've been told your whole ass life, to be strong, to show no emotion, to form a cohesive social unit with other men but constantly police yourself for signs of "the gay", all in service to a nation state that doesn't even think you're worth housing.

you've been fucking duped, and your empathy has been taxed primarily because you're not allowed to ask for it, and expected not to nurture it -except- with the family you create. From adolescence on you're in conflict with your dad assuming he's there in the first place.

i hope you find someplace that values the work you've done on/for yourself so that you can grow and value the work of others and help those who's struggles are like yours, but oppressed ruthlessly and differently from you.
