Why is it that folk outside the SBC keep asking AA pastors if we are leaving? SBC pastors know how to make their own decisions. We are not stupid or blind. We are working on family business. It looks strange to those outside the house.
Res 9 carves out safe space to utilize the beneficial aspects of CRT; not as a worldview or ideology. It respects the AA journey enduring the worst of systemic racism; to reject Res 9 rejects the AA life experience and AA personhood.
We are still in communication with our seminary presidents. We just not going to publicize all of our family business. If you want to do something, pray for all of us—that God will be glorified. It’s an Acts 6 moment. Take care of your own house—first.
