I’ll have a longer thread on this later, but what in the actual F https://twitter.com/aegallo/status/1357850581575041024
So, just for context, what this suit is called is a "Reverse Public Records Lawsuit" -- they are becoming disturbingly common as public officials like Landry use their hefty budgets to intimidate reporters and citizens -- see @rcfp https://www.rcfp.org/how-reverse-cpra-lawsuits-harm-the-publics-right-to-know/
I can't say much about the suit other than we're going to defend it vigorously and that we intend to seek attorney's fees, costs, and sanctions against the AG to the fullest extent of the law.
Also, point of personal privilege: there is nothing conservative about suing an individual exercising a constitutional right. As Thomas Jefferson said: "When government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny."
@aegallo doesn't fear the gov't because she's got grit and grace--and support standing with her. Imagine if she was an average jane. That's why these suits must be stopped. #lalege
