Why I love Dr. Stone(thread)(spoilers)Let me just start off by saying the plot is one of my favorites rn. It mainly stand out for me over current ones thats going on mainly because of post apocalyptic time period, and the environment changing over thousands of years
Next I'll go on to how everything started. The petrification event is still one of the biggest mysteries in the beginning of the series. My favorite question to ask was "How tf do you petrify an entire planet of 7.5 billion people like that?
" thats honestly what drew me in

(Cont) Plus I'm a huge fan of mysteries like that and Dr. Stone satisfies that love because when I found out what actually can cause the petrification I was shocked it was called the Medusa a fitting name
that led to my question on how such a small device could do that?

Now on to the characters. I love all of them I think they're all incredible and I think their personalities really do compliment each other greatly. You got Strength, Curiosity, Ingenuity, and compassion all mixed together perfectly. Nothing seems forced in my eyes. Beautiful.
Senku Ishigami is personally my favorite mainly because I think he's different from the others in SJ. He literally ended a war with a paper airplane
and I find his personality hella fun man. The series literally makes itself standout because of the methods used to win a battle

I also love how he stayed conscious during his petrification for so long just counting in the darkness. He was able to tell the landscape even when it changed so much. Senku really is an amazing protagonist and he's the perfect fit for Dr. Stone all together. Plus he's a badass

Then there's his Charismatic personality. I would literally follow him to the end of the earth. Along with Tsukasa as well. Polar Opposites, Senku is Science and Tsukasa is strength. Perfect Parallels to each other.
Shishio Tsukasa was the first antagonist who had a very good outlook on the world in the series. He wanted a pure world but his vision was flawed due to what happened at the end of the Stone wars arc with Hyoga, plus two of his men saw the flaws in it as well
Interesting enough I loved the idea that there was no presence of a God and that the winner of the Stone Wars could be the one to shape the new stone world. It was a clash of principles and I enjoyed that. When it does that it usually works out and it definitely did for Dr. Stone
Now let's get to the Antagonist. I think they're easily the best so far including Tsukasa, Hyoga(Actual endgame Stone Wars antagonist), Ibara(Bum), and Stanley and Xeno. They all have that follow me to the end of the earth energy fr
perfect for antagonists too

Also there's the mysterious antagonists known as Why Man. WHO IS HE? WHY DID THEY DO IT? WHERE ARE THEY? HOW DID THEY SURVIVE SO LONG? Such a beautiful mystery and I hope it comes together perfectly.
Then there's the I think their I interactions are gold not only that it was refreshing to see how humanity was after so many years. Plus the mystery behind ishigami village was beautiful with the back story of the Soyuz crew. I miss them so much
I also love Dr. Stone because of the art. It has some of my favorite panels to date. Its captivating and so memorable in my opinion. Plus the Character designs look amazing with it fr
Now the music for the series. The openings are beautiful all three of them. They're all catchy and perfect fits to the arcs they're covering and the OST IS AMAZING FR there's no bad track at all
Then there's Rakuen(Paradise)
it fits perfectly because both sides are fighting to decide the course of the world. They're literally fighting for their version of paradies

Now the arcs. A few of them started off slow but I love the way it keeps picking up arc after arc. It has no slowdown whatsoever, especially Treasure Island. Its also great that it showed Byakuya's last moment during that arc and how much he trusted Senku. I still cry from that

With the current arc coming to a close I saw in over the series how much Senku really trusted Chrome with the future of science. As Senku once said "Science never dies. If you kill one scientist, another person will get curious. Thats the basis behind science."
I just love it so much man along with every character and every moment its just incredible. A total masterpiece in my eyes. Plus we're getting closer to the truth of the mystery
You should watch and read Dr. Stone if you haven't had the chance fr

Thats the end of the thread. You should watch and read this beautiful series that I've come to enjoy over the months
