Sensationalizing these “Black on Asian crime” stories only entrenches the anti-Black sentiments that already prevent us from uniting against our true oppressors.
This account’s profile picture is an image of Vicha Ratanapakdee, an SF elder who was murdered by a 19-year old Black man. Why is this account choosing to boost these isolated incidents portraying Black men as perps instead of amplifying stories about white/state violence.
