I just released a book about video game butts. Let's discuss Miranda's Butt being shown a little less prominently in Mass Effect Remastered.
Let's start by talking about the narrative importance of Miranda's butt, and why it's good the game is not removing it entierly.

Miranda's whole plotline in Mass Effect 2 is about how she was genetically engineered for perfection. Perfect body, perfect intelligence, perfect creativity etc.
This is distressing for her, the pressure to be perfect, to live up to unlivable expectations.

So, in Mass Effect 2, Miranda's initially shown in game with a lot of deliberately sexualised shots of her body. This is deliberate. It's to get you seeing her a certain way before you know better.
Her perfect body is a source of distress for her. It's a reminder of her being built for perfection.
This is why I kind of don't mind less of her ass being shown in some irrellivent scenes.

Let her have the perfect ass. Let it be sometimes front and centre frame, but maybe once the player knows that it's a source of distress for her, downplay it, and use fewer weird butt shots.
Her butt is narratively signifficant, that doesn't mean we always need to stare at it.

An amount of perfect ass is important to her story, but there's a turning point beyond which her ass has served its purpose in the plot, and staring at it like 5% less isn't going to hurt, and may actively improve payoff for her plot.
