what is and what isn’t fetishization of mlm !! — a thread
before i start, i would like to say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with non mlm enjoying and creating mlm content. however you must be careful to make sure you don’t cross the line !! you can still ship mlm pairings without fetishizing.
obviously every mlm/nblm will have their own opinions on what is and isnt fetishization of mlm, these are just my opinions !!
also, fetishizing means "to obsess over" but has different meanings. fetishizing isn’t always going to be sexual, and most of the time isn't.
ONE. shipping two men just because they are two men. literally, just because they are two attractive men. like with no prior interaction or even fucking personalities. if you ship men together because they’re men, with no other reason than that. that is fetishizing.

TWO. reading mlm stories just because it’s mlm or just for gay sex. if you are reading yaoi/bl just for sex, there is definitely something wrong. gay people are not your kink.
