Friendly reminder that adaptation choices aren't censorship. This idea seems to be a leftover of the memory of 4Kids. It has been over a decade since 4Kids was a major force in anime. It's time to move on.
Ya don't have to love every choice adaptors make. Art is subjective. Ain't nothing wrong with you having your preferences. But, the subtitles are adapted to, unless you speak Japanese fluently you aren't getting the 100% same experience as a Japanese audience and that's okay
Let people do their job. If ya don't like it that's fine, I get it, but accusations of censorship are either a misunderstanding of what censorship is, or it's used because it feels like a moral crime. They didn't just make a choice you disagreed with! They *GASP* censored it!
No this isn't in response to anything specific. Just something I still see thrown around and like...it's been over a decade. There is as much blood, death, boobs and real big boy stuff freely available in anime as you could want. It ain't being cut for Fox Box anymore. End rant
