Ruth Smeeth is not the only Ex Labour MP to appear in Wikileaks, Chuka Umunna approached Hilary Clinton’s campaign team, WikiLeaks revealed in 2016. Coincidently Keir's new enforcer, Alexandre Barros-Curtis worked for the Clinton Foundation. #LabourLeaks https://www.thecanary.co/uk/2016/10/25/wikileaks-latest-release-shows-exactly-labour-plotters-jeremy-corbyn-looked-set-win/
According to a leaked email, Labour MP Chuka Umunna approached Hilary Clinton’s campaign team in July 2015 to request a sit-down. It seems the staunch Jeremy Corbyn critic wanted to aid Clinton in defeating her socialist democratic rival, Bernie Sanders. #LabourLeaks #StarmerOut
The group got hold of a number of emails from John Podesta, Clinton’s campaign chairman during her bid to be the Democratic presidential nominee, when her rival Bernie Sanders, at the time of the email, was surging in the polls. #LabourLeaks
A member of Umunna’s team wrote:

Wanted to let you know that Chuka Umunna, shadow secretary for commerce is in NYC on Thursday.

He’d love to come by and see you, and share his insights on why Labour did so badly in May, and what HRC campaign might take from that. #LabourLeaks
A source close to Umunna confirmed the meeting went ahead. The source claimed that Corbyn’s rise in popularity was discussed. As was the challenge Clinton faced from Sanders’ spiralling approval. #LabourLeaks #StarmerOut
Though it’s no surprise that Chuka Umunna wanted to help Clinton. After all, they are politicians cut from the same supposedly ‘moderate‘ cloth. Keir Starmer's new Executive Director of Legal Affairs is Alexandre Barros-Curtis, he worked for the Clinton Foundation. #LabourLeaks
According to his LinkedIn profile, ABC’s day job is as a consultant solicitor “Providing specialised legal advice in the area of derivatives and structured finance” in particular “Hedging, project financings, securitisations and credit derivatives” #LabourLeaks #HedgeFund
Bill Clinton and others appeared in Keir's colleague, Jeffrey Epstein's 'Black Book'. Mr ABC managed ''Strategic Consultancy'' on the UK’s Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse. Asked to comment on ABC role in the party Labour said they do not discuss staffing issues.
