I'm hesitantly optimistic about tonight's info. All the posturing from Yoshi-P and SE themselves seems to point to them feeling confident they have something big up their sleeves.

It's either that, or they're banking on general expansion hype to override everything else.
Been around the block long enough to know to temper my expectations, though. As fantastic as the story for Shadowbringers was, the rest of it has honestly left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.
I feel like ShB was the expansion of "quality over longevity", which wound up being an even bigger problem with Covid delays. They turned up the dial to max on overall content quality, but the longevity and design of it all left so much to be desired, at least to me.
Outside of the initial burst of hype, I found myself trailing off in interest extremely quickly on almost everything. Story was solid all the way through, but the longevity and sustainability of it's core content felt rather empty, full stop.
Bozja was supposed to be a step up from Eureka, but IMO was a few steps back. We lost the third PotD content, which was a big hit for me. Tower climbs were always fun and felt like a worthwhile use of time for the rewards and achievement of doing so.
Outside of WoL EX and maybe Hades, the EX trials have felt massively undertuned compared to SB.

Firmament was cool, but to me, it died out the second I got everything I wanted from it on patch release. Felt no desire to continue to craft for it outside of week 1 of an update.
Savage was pretty solid, and I really enjoyed TEA. I am still excited for the next Ultimate as well, but as far as this expansion goes, the raid content was basically what carried me. I raid logged otherwise more often than not. I want to not do that next expansion. Here's hoping
