Some thoughts on waiting for a vaccine for us Manitoba folk.
Both Trudeau and Pallister, and our governments, are obviously doing their best to get vaccines into our arms as soon as possible.

Some of us are supposed to be critical of them/government when the plans are unclear, or the plans aren't working - I'm thinking medical professionals, opposition politicians, etc.
Please keep it up.
Please keep it up.
But for the rest of us, it's completely out of our hands. There is literally nothing we can do to speed it up.
On other issues, sure, public pressure helps. But on vaccines, I'm pretty sure that sending an email telling Pallister or Trudeau to speed up the process isn't going to make a difference, let alone liking/sharing a "this politician is doing terrible" post/tweet.
So if you're like me and noticing some extra anxiety, frustration, or anger rising up, I've found the Serenity Prayer to be helpful.
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference."
