No, I really want to understand this. I haven't heard one cogent bit of information from anyone that explains how the government "mismanaged the file" but everyone is saying it like it's true.

I'm not defending the government, that's not what this is, I'm asking people to defend their words.

Maybe I should be mad at them. But I'm not taking anyone's say-so just because they said so.

Because either I'm crazy and stupid and can't parse facts (seems weird to be suddenly beset by such afflictions) or the narrative is untrue and dishonest and *doesn't* make sense.

And I fucking want to know which it is.

I will take a responsible answer that doesn't attempt to gaslight me from anyone, frankly.
